Hi, how can I add custom HTML code on all pages and then potentially custom on some individual pages within the footer or header tags within the theme?

Cheers,
Pete

Hello pgmast,

If you want to add some custom HTML code to our theme you have to do some altering in the core files corresponding with the files where the pages are created. As you can see in our documentation, we have 3 different templates for pages, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/dvYCETSyqE and you have to insert the codes in them, depending on which template is used, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/46UL1UBZM7 And for each header/footer template used by you, it is necessary to do changes in these files -> http://screencast.com/t/ixygT0H0Iz2W -> http://screencast.com/t/RttUYxRFvdAw

Hope this helps!

Thank you for the message!

Hi,

I am trying to add the code as specified here: https://youtu.be/Hxkvkr7aIGw?t=52s

but the instructions you’ve posted above aren’t clear enough for me to make the changes. I want to edit this page: http://www.tippingthesaddle.com/formguide/ This particular page is the ‘default template’.

does that mean that I have to edit both the page.php and all of the header-style-x.php files? and if so, where do I add the extra piece of code?

Please help,
Pete
