I have always used my own PHP redirect files
in the form mysite.com/goto/partner-site/
and kept a “goto/” folder with subfolders like “partner-site/”
and finally an index.php file that contains some database job and the php redirect to the partner site, let’s say http://www.partner-site.com.
It’s no longer working!
For instance, clicking on link
http://www.binarniopce.cz/odkazy/topoption/
has always redirected to http://www.topoption.com. It has always worked like a charm!
Suddenly it’s doing something else. It redirects to
http://www.binarniopce.cz/topoption-nova-platforma-rychla-lepsi-grafy/
Why??
It seems like now http://www.binarniopce.cz/odkazy/xxxxx/
redirects to the most recent relevant article with title “xxxxx”
For instance,
http://www.binarniopce.cz/odkazy/studovna/
redirects to my page
http://www.binarniopce.cz/studovna/
even though there is no folder “studovna” under “odkazy” and I have not set manually any redirects.
The only two things I did was:
– Updating Newspaper to the latest version
– Changing a web host (from Hostgator to WPEngine)

SOLVED – programmer forgot to upload the /odkazy/ folder. Close please
