That banners i think not will fit there, you need to use smaller banner there, please put there the banner you want to use and then give me your site to inspect it for alignment, i can’t align it from a screenshot.
To add more custom ad spot is a little compicated, but you can try, all data is in this 2 files, one handler the panel and one is the widget.

where do you want your header ad to be align?
the size of images are standard. however I think if you modify the source of the theme you can achieve what you want. if you are not a programmer please hire one for this tasks.
