I noticed that new demos (https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_crypto/ and https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_city_news/ ) have main container width (https://c2n.me/3RUyq0X.png) much bigger than standard theme, How to achieve that? Or it is complex css customization made just for these demos?
Thanks.
Hi,
That feature was available before, I believe from the previous theme version. When building pages with the tagDiv composer rows can be stretched to predefined values or full width

That is the setting used in creating the demos you mention. Also the header and footer sections can be stretched (demo uses this option as well)

Thanks
You can install the demo and use any images you want and also image optimizations if needed. The homepage is built for demo purposes. It is built entirely using the new flex block element
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/flex-block/
Each element in the page content is a flex block.
You can use the article image settings to customize the image size
– https://www.screencast.com/t/dfYl3XmlPP83
The selected image size will be used as background by the flex module.
Thanks. Will do that. Though the block shows the smallest image as size 696 while I was thinking of a smaller size for the images on the two vertical blocks on the left and right in this image http://prntscr.com/igr2a2 and on the latest post block (After changing the image size from 1068 t0 696, the homepage reduced from 4.28mb to 2.65mb).
Thanks for these tips – including the video background – I had the same questions when I saw the new full width header demos. Thrilled to give this a try on one of my sites.
