I am using CPT UI plugin to create custom posts. i tried to use your td_book but it wouldn’t work for my purposes.
In difference with normal articles where i can choose individually the post template on my custom posts i can’t do that.
Any advise?or simply it wont work?

Hello,
Sorry but custom post types do not get the standard post templates. A CPT will only use the default post template in our theme.
