Custom Post Types with WPMU DEV CustomPress

Hi Guys, is Newspaper 7 compatible with WPMU DEV CustomPress, we need to add several custom post types to the site but need to be sure that it isn’t going to throw up any serious issues.

Hi

Unfortunately the plugin is not tested to work with the theme and we cannot guarantee it will work 100%. We have not tested this plugin and we have no idea of the plugin functionality in order to provide an answer. However you can do a few tests with it and check how it works.

Hi Andrei, Thanks for the feedback, from our initial investigation the pagination seems to be broken and the custom post types don’t appear to be included in search results. Is there any other way we can add custom post types that would provide a more seamless integration with Newspaper 7?

Hi,
Unfortunately if the plugin mentioned does not work with our theme, it most probably is not worth the effort to adapt it as it will require quite a bit of modification in the code. Plugin implementation is never easy. You are better off finding another plugin and test it to work. There are a bunch of free ones out there.
