I saw a few posts where you have advised on creating our own page with custom fields, set the page in Account details, and use the element User Update Form Submit https://i.imgur.com/61UrCrn.png -> https://i.imgur.com/Vhf2cL6.png
Maybe I am missing a step or something but I tried to create a replica with also the additional form input field “bio”. However, on clicking the update button the new information is not getting saved. I would have liked this to get saved in the User-details in the WP default “users” page.
Could you explain in detail this step please? Should the update button be in the same row?
Secondly, in your form, there is a small (?) icon like a tooltip. How can I create something like that?
I just want to additionally ask, if I have to create custom fields somewhere? Because the default account-settings page already has these fields, so I did not create any custom fields yet, anywhere.

Thanks @Anamaria — but if I don’t want the “billing details” and create a new page altogether, how does it work? In this screenshot you provided, there is the setting “save/load from : description“. Where does this “description” come from or get saved? I am a bit confused about that.

Ah okay, I thought I could create a new page and add a custom form to it updating user info. This is not possible?

I tested, and yes, you can create a separate page with those and set the page on my account or menu login, and this will update the information for the user without set it in the account settings https://i.imgur.com/rLZZ1Ht.png
