Custom sidebar in Newspaper

Hello,

I didn’t find answer by myself, so I ask community: Does Newspaper has ability to create Custom sidebar for determined category/plugin. For example: to create a custom sidebar for bbpress forum. This sidebar should display widgets only for forum/topic/replies pages.

Hello,
Yes, create a custom sidebar from Theme – Options -> Sidebars, populate your sidebar with widgets then go to Theme Customizer and from Template Options select for bbPress your sidebar http://screencast.com/t/2D2mTcdD

Ohh… it seems changing sidebar for bbpress doesn’t take an effect. I have tried to change sidebar for bbPress and doesnt work. With other pages, it works, but with bbPress doesnt work.

What do you suggest me?

I have figured out how to get the sidebar to show up properly… instead of going to theme customizer and choosing your sidebar you have to select it on the actual page.

My new problem is the sidebar overlaps the submit button on the forum… Is there a quick fix for this?
