Custom Taxonomy Archives Not Displaying

Hey!

Built the templates for the custom taxonomy archives. However, whenever we click on the taxonomy entry it is taking us to the default archives rather than the one we built.

it is set as global and when you click edit with tagdiv it comes up and shows us the custom one we had built. But when we click view it just goes back to default.

Tried everything I can to get it sorted. Tried duplicating the template, building it again from scratch and it just isn’t working at all.
