I want to create a block with flex box 1 containing 6 posts, but I want each image to be on opposite sides in sepearte rows.

Is it possible to have 6 posts placed like the loop block in one flex box or do I need to create 3 seperate flex boxes and make one big block of it?

Yes, you can do that using flex block 1 but, you need to use 3 flex blocks exactly like posts loops (there are set 3 posts loops with offset on them), if you want, you can import the post loop from tagDiv Cloud Library to see how it was made.
