Customize Article Display View

I am trying to make author and category appear on the M6 Article Display View, under the article image and title.
Could you please help?

What I would like is to have the exact same display as in post headers, that is the category background color, font color and space between category and author just like here: http://imagespourapprendre.com/2014/10/plug-it-on-the-window/

Should I edit the get_category function or customize some css? Could you please help?

Thanks a lot for your answer, it works pretty well. The only problem left I’d like to solve is that the category background color doesn’t seem to be the one I chose in the theme panel.

As you can see, “technologie & Innovation” is green on the homepage: http://imagespourapprendre.com/

While it should be red just like on the article: http://imagespourapprendre.com/2014/10/plug-it-on-the-window/

Could you please help on this?

It looks great! Do you think you could slightly adapt the code so that only the primary category appears? I’ve tried it myself but my knowledge in PHP is quite limited.. :s
