Customize block with "Offset posts" option

Здравствуйте!

Есть задача: установить смещение статей в блоке, чтобы они начинали выводиться с 15-ой по счёту. Глобально, без ограничений.

Если я выставляю цифру 14, данная настройка работает и статьи выводятся, начиная с 15-ой.

Если я добавляю фильтрацию, к примеру, устанавливаю определённую рубрику, смещение перестаёт работать. Я так понимаю, что применение фильтра добавляет ограничение и при установке фильтрации по рубрике статьи начнут выводиться, только если в этой рубрике наберётся 15 статей. Верно?

Но, необходимо настроить смещение так, чтобы фильтры его не ограничивали. Как можно это сделать и в каком файле настраивается смещение?

Сейчас на сайте стоят такие настройки:

1. Big Grid 2. Category filter: All categories. Sort order: Latest.

2. Block 9. Offset posts: 4. Category filter: All categories. Sort order: Latest.

3. Block 17. Offset posts: 14. Category filter: “Politics” (only one category). Sort order: Latest.

В третьем блоке смещение перестает работать, потому что изменена фильтрация. Главный вопрос в том, как можно изменить логику работы смещения, чтобы оно не работало только с одной рубрикой, а фильтр лишь его дополнял.

То есть, чтобы в третьем блоке продолжались выводиться статьи согласно настройкам смещения + к нему ещё добавилась фильтрация по рубрике.

Получается в блоке 1 мы выводим все статьи по убыванию, во блоке 2 также все статьи по убыванию, а в блоке 3 все статьи по убыванию + отсортированные по рубрике.

Попробовал использовать опцию “Unique Articles”. При её включении на странице действительно отображаются только уникальные статьи. Но, непонятен порядок их появления на странице. Статья появляется каким-то случайным образом в любом из блоков. Можно узнать немного подробнее, как именно работает опция “Unique Articles”?
