When opening the dashboard, there are some annoying boxes there useless for most people. Screenshot.
Is it possible to hide all of them and add soft useful information from Newspaper theme or other relevant stuff?

That is a collection of gadgets provided by wordpress, with useful information about activity on the website, news and links and can be configured here – https://www.screencast.com/t/C0YvtH6F When you install different plugins, some of them may provide additional gadgets to use in the dashboard.

The solution you provided is not a solution. As they say “just because I don’t see it, it doesn’t mean nobody can see it”.
As an administrator, I want to configure the dashboard for all website users. So that I can decide what they should see there and what not.
Hiding the widgets using the method you showed would hide them only for me. This doesn’t help at all 🙂

I believe this is what you’re looking for. This plugin rocks! Took me months to find, but I love it. Wish I had it sooner.

Thanks for your input. I do know the plugin, I tried it on my previous website (different theme) but it was clashing with some theme related plugins. Didn’t even think about trying it with Newspaper.
Did you had any issues?
Haven’t had any issues so far running it with Newspaper. Been using it for months now. Hope that helps.
