I have looked everywhere, but I can’t find the answer. Is is possible to design dropdown menu’s myself? I want to have control over the things that are shown when hovering a main-menu item. I read in the documentation I should make a ‘Mega menu’ from an custom page. But I have no dropdowns in my menu-editor to select a page or something. So, what can I do? Or what am I doing wrong? I just see the standard WordPress options when making a menu.. nothing special.

Thanks for your reply, but that’s not what I mean. I mean if you hover a menu-item on newsmag, the subitems in it become visual (see http://www.biblword.net). I want to influence the order, the size, position et cetera. Is that possible?

That is possible only by editing the code to change the current menu’s style and add your own. This is a complex task which require many customizations and also good coding skills in order to be achieved.
