Hi, I’ve just download and installed the latest version of the theme. Demo “COV-19 Italy Report PRO” (importing content) was installed.
My question is: When customizing the theme, many of the changes I’m performing are not being displayed. Like for example: Banners I’m adding, or if I change the the block header template. So something must be wrong. All necessary plugins are installed, as well as wp super cache.

That depends of the demo you are using, if is a standard demo with out cloud templates will be apply the settings from theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/6rOZGA9.png if you are using cloud templates (PRO demo like in your case) then you need to use tagDiv Composer to edit the cloud templates and pages.

Unfortunately our theme do not have this option, sorry!
As I know there were some customers that used some plugin to achieve this, but I do not know if is working with PRO Demos or only with Standard demos.

What’s the best method to get the theme always up to date?
Is “Yellow Pencil”compatible? Any cons on making use of it?

We do not tested the Yellow Pencil, therefore we can not say how this will work, sorry.
From Newspaper 10.3.2 you can make the theme updates using the one option from the theme -> https://i.imgur.com/3hmMMD5.png also the above phrase is referring for example to the post styles, these are no longer in the place that were before, now are moved in tagDiv Standard Pack, therefore, you need to set in the child theme a path (to directories) as in our documentation and to set there the post style templates.
