Date Error

Hi there,

I’m getting a date error on the Newspaper theme as following:

Warning: date() expects parameter 2 to be long, string given in /home/xxx/public_html/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/wp_booster/td_module.php on line 155

Any idea how to fix this?

Hello menj,

Make sure that you are using the latest theme version installed via FTP way because this is the surest method in this case. Most likely, this error happens due to an inappropriate install and that’s why I recommend you to make a new clean install.

Hi Catalin,

I’ve re-uploaded the theme files using FTP, but the issue persists. I can’t do a clean install because this is an existing production site and this error did not exist in the previous theme that I was using.

Please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) and full FP access so we can investigate it closer. Before sending us this email, please disable all of the untested plugins which are not recommended because all of these can interact with the theme core files and causes a lot of unknown issues and please notice that’s the first step for WordPress debugging.
