Date Format – problem

Hello,

In the admin area of my pavlikeni.com, I have set the date format to appear as follows (as displayed in the admin panel): 9 септември, 2015 (tha is 9 september, 2015). However, the site’s front end displays септември 9, 2015 (month name and date number are reversed). In Bulgarian language, the correct date format is 9 септември, 2015, as I have selected it in the admin panel.

Why are the admin panel settings not displaying properly and how can that be fixed?

Thanks,
Peter

Hi

Try adding this parameters d F Y in custom date format under Settings > General: http://screencast.com/t/gfYl0afg4http://screencast.com/t/8jEyMQz3VSP Also more information about date format you can find here: https://codex.wordpress.org/Formatting_Date_and_Time
Let me know how it goes and if you still have this issue please send an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your sites login details and we will inspect this issue, also include a link to this topic.

Thanks!

Hello,

Thanks for the response, but you completely misunderstood me. The solution you provide adds a “0” in front of single digit dates. My problem is that the date on the top left hand corner of the pages shows SEPTEMBER 09, 2015, when the date of my latest article shows 9 september, 2015. I have the date format set as j F, Y. The article date shows correctly, but the date on the top left hand corner of the site does not and this is the problem.

Thanks,
Peter

Hi

Sorry for misunderstanding you!
The top menu date it’s set in top-menu.php file so you need to modify this parameters like here: http://screencast.com/t/mkZYyoS076fYhttp://screencast.com/t/iQeaCm6ZbRs

Let me know how it goes!

Thanks!
