Decide placement of Featured articles in Big Slide

Hi

I’m displaying 4 Featured stories in the Big Slide on my homepage. The newest article is displayed as the largest picture. Is there another way to decide which stories are displayed in one of the three places on the right, and which story gets the main spot on the left? It would be nice to switch their placement without altering their publish times.

if you add the big slide using Visual composer you have a filter there, but I don’t think you can do something about the ordering .
