Decrease the width of main content area

Hi there,

I want to decrease main content area width to 1000px from 1068px. Can you please let me know what’s the best way to approach this? I want to keep header and footer as it. My website URL is http://aksharwebsolutions.com/ffm/.

Hello,

Our theme was built based on a fixed site width. All content depends on this with in order to align to the column based layout we created. The width can be reduced using css but the problem is that all elements depend on this width. If you change it, you will have to change every single element you use on your website in order to adjust it to the new width.
