Hello,
If you don’t set a featured image on the post, then the theme will load a placeholder image https://www.screencast.com/t/cc6AoItngp the placeholder image can be set in Theme Panel -> Block Settings -> Thumbs on Modules/Blocks => https://www.screencast.com/t/GhcQr6M6v
