Default sort order on category pages

Is it possible to set the default sort order on category pages to By popularity, not Latest.

Btw, is it possible to change sorting order of article module http://take.ms/DltF3 using a similar approach?

Hi,

It is specified in the same topic about the articles from the bottom of Big Grid you can find the filter options in td_wp_booster_functions.php file by default when the user change the filter to popular also the url is changing and it is applied the filter on Big Grid and for the loop content(there is also an offset). Unfortunately changing this requires more custom modifications and the time doesn’t allow us to do more tests and see if it works properly, I suggest to review all the code and change it like you wish and test it or hire a professional developer to do it for you.
