how can i delete categories and make my own?and how connect each category in homepage to show news?

You can delete the categories in Posts -> Categories and create a new one.https://eu.siteground.com/tutorials/wordpress/use-categories/ You need to have posts that have assigned the categories. Also, you can create a menu with your categories -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/mega-menu/
