On each site you can install a single demo which will apply its layout for all posts and pages. However you can create new sub-domains and impost a different demo on each of them. You can create a separate wp-install for each sub-domain and import there the desired demo.

As long as you have a valid license for our theme you can download any updates even if the paid support period pass, there is no restriction in this regard.
