Hi,

Is it possible to activate the theme and create the website in a development environment and then move it to another domain name?

Hi,

The theme can be activated on a testing domain, there will be no problem doing so. According to Envato license terms, the theme license can be used on a single final product (website)
– https://themeforest.net/licenses/standard
So a testing environment or local private install will not be a violation of the terms.

Hi,

I have one more question:
I can import demo content if I activate the theme in the test environment. Do I then have to deactivate or just move the website to its final location?

Hi,

Yes, you can import the content.
After you migrate the website, you need to reset the key from the staging website and activate the live website -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/move-theme-changes-from-staging-to-live/
