Hi,
When I disable an ad spot for a device type the ads still display on the device. I am not using google ads and instead your recommended code of:
<div class=”td-visible-desktop”>
</div>
However this does not seem to help at all. I am using the version 4.2.2, but previous versions did work find.

Hi,
Just remove the div used by the respective device, for example if you don’t want the ad on mobiles remove the div that has td-visible-phone class in it.

Ah OK. Makes sense, but for my information, then why have the option to disable it? Or is this for google ads only?

Should work for both, I have tested this and work fine within last theme version. I’m not sure why it dose not work in your case, maybe it may have to do with some plugins you use or due to cache.
