Different site when www is not included at the address

Hello,

I experience a strange problem. I have set up your template and all worked as expected until I noticed a strange issue. When I enter http://www.pressonline.gr at the address bar of my browser (internet explorer) the sites displays its latest version (latest posts). When I enter pressonline.gr (ommiting the www) I see a previous version of my site that requires a refresh.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your immediate response.

However, I contacted both my hosting provider and my domain registrar and both assured me that everything is ok regarding the DNS settings and the A, CNAME and MX records.

They pointed me back to you by saying that there might be a problem with the wordpress theme or a caching plugin of the wordpress installation. I have not installed any caching plugins just the jetpack as you suggest at your documentation.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, since I have not used any additional plugins except for those you recommend.

I have managed to fix it for my site.

I forced non use of the www in the htaccess file as a workaround by adding the following.

#Force non-www:
RewriteEngine on
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www\.example\.com [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://example.com/$1 [L,R=301]
