why do I see different style of icons on the post page. check this

1) it says ” share on facebook ” ” tweet on twitter ” and then a small Google + and Pinterest icon. WHy are these 4 not consistent
2) then we see this f like and tweet sign which is again smaller and looks confusing and inconsistent. Not sure if I am the only one who feel that way

This was a design choice that was made as facebook and twitter were the most popular sharing networks at the time so we put emphasis on them. The other 2 like/tweet buttons (the small ones) were meant for counters. Twitter had a counter as well but since then twitter removed all counters from their social network and left the widget with a simple button and nothing more.
