Hi all,
Is it possible to disable the light box on smart list-style posts? I’d like to add a link to a specific URL to each image, rather than trigger the light box when an image is clicked. Specifying this in the image options doesn’t seem to make any difference.

Thanks for the reply, I’d had a look at that thread but unfortunately commenting out that function stops all images from loading? The page loads but without any images.

The lazyload animation causes this if there is a js error. It should work now if you remove the second code also.

Thanks for the quick reply — that has disabled the lightbox and the images now load again, but clicking on one of the images now just opens it in a new tab. The custom URL applied to the image still doesn’t work.

Unfortunately, this seems to be quite the hassle as custom links are implemented differently. The only viable solution at the moment is for you to use smart list 8. This will work with custom links directly without modification. We are working on improving smart lists so in a future version we hope we can implement images differently with other smart lists as well.
