There are certain templates that I don’t want our editors to use.
Is there a way to disable them so that they will not be available as an option to choose in the Post Edit screen?

Sorry but if your editors have access to the theme post settings, then they have access to all the theme post settings. The theme does not feature any options to have just selective options show up. If you have rights to see the theme panel you have the rights to see all theme options. If not, you will see no theme options.

I did find 2 ways to do this. I have over 50 people posting and they don’t always follow the instructions. Eliminating the wrong choices helps.
Change the /images/panel/single_templates/single_template_#.png to an image that says “Do not use”. Of course, someone will want to try it anyway.
I also commented out the code that calls the template onto the editing page in td_config.php under the single template list area.
