Disable Visual Composer?

Is that possible? If not feature request for option to disable Visual Composer plugin.

Do forum search for my posts with radu re the vc shim beta… Nit sure it works with latest vc, but if you can live with only the tagdiv modules and blocks and none of the whackier vc stuff, it might still work.

Good question for radu? Does shim beta still work?

@glennwpaul If you don’t use it to create your page(s) you can disable it. We have released a shim version in the past for Newsmag theme, but we have to do some tests to see if it still works. We will let you know or you can also test it if you want – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/newsmag-1-7-1-killed-our-server-again/page/3/#post-52148


@Chris S I have added this on our list and we will make some tests this week using the shim version.
We will update this topic after we test it.

@Chris S – I’ve made some tests and the shim plugin works fine with VC v4.7.4, if you find any issue let us know and we’ll look into it.
