That is possible, it will require a small modification in a theme file. Add &rel=0

After making that change, should that file be saved in the child theme?

Before each update, you should make a full backup to your website to avoid losing all of your data. Also, this core file where is made this change cannot be overwritten in Child Theme. Please check our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/
