Hi,
The shortcode for the plugin appears on your site because you have the widget set either on a sidebar in the widgets area or in visual composer on pages. You need to remove it from there also if you want to remove the shortcodes.

Hi, in my case social counter block doesn´t appear when I choose to add an element from visual composer. I re-installed the social counter plugin but nothing happens.

The social counter will not appear if you do not add any social settings. Try to add a few id’s in the Twitter or Youtube fields and they will show up. It will not show anything if nothing is specified in it’s settings.

I was referring to these fields: http://screencast.com/t/nIddYyc4Pdn2 . If you do not add any social id’s here, then nothing will be displayed. If you updated to newspaper 7, then please remove your current version of the social counter and install version 4.0 of the plugin from the plugins folder inside the main theme archive.

Hi Bogdan B., I have updated to newspaper 7 and social counter plugin to 4.0, but the social counter block still missing, so I can´t fix the fields you´ve mentioned before.
Instead of this, the social counter widget works excellent, why is that?

The block is present if you add it to your page. if you removed then you need to add it again. It will not display automatically. Please provide an example of how you are implementing the social counter and provide a link to your page so we can inspect it.

Finally done.
The problem was related to Visual Composer settings where Social Counter was disabled.
