How do I disable Google AMP properly without messing getting 404 pages from indexed AMP pages. Will simply disabling the Google AMP plugin work? Just wanting to make sure.

Hi,
Yes, disabling the AMP plugin it will work, but also it will take some time until Google will re-index your links and remove the amp links.
