Hi there,

At the moment the search bar is already hidden in http://www.viralbae.com/news

But I’m looking to keep a dropdown icon to dispaly login/logout status and profile custom link.

Please advice the code we need to get for logout in place from top bar.

Thanks!

Hi George,

You can add the login widget top the main menu by creating a custom link and place the login widget link in it:

If this is not what you mean, please provide more details so we can understand your request better

Thank you!

Thanks for your reply Bogdan.

Your suggestion is right but when I browse from mobile login/logout link will be hidden to the menu. Rather it should to be displayed in replace of search icon in mobile view.

To be precise a drop down needs to be displayed in right top corner(mobile and desktop view)

Please let me know your thoughts.

Thanks

Hi,

You could make the login widget appear only on the mobile version. You can hide the login with css and then force it to appear on mobile. Then make the login in the main menu disappear on mobile so you won’t have 2 logins in the mobile version. This seems the easiest way. The drop-down way involves a bit of coding knowledge and it will be no easy task. unfortunately we cannot provide custom work at the moment, you will have to hire a freelancer to do it.
I hope this helps.

Thanks.

Ahh that’s fine. I got your view.

With regard to login alone, I’m unable to see widgets in Appearance – > widgets

Or is there any function or short code to call.

Please could you help.

Hi,

Please try to check the widgets area with a WP default theme like Twentyfifteen. You can also disable all your plugins except visual composer and clear cache.
Let us know how it goes.

Thanks.
