I have installed Version 9.6 but still i am not getting last updated. If I am enabling show under under post settings it simply shows date. If I enabled SHOW MODIFIED DATE which is under block setting -> More info then also its doesnt show what I am looking for.

Unfortunately this is the only option to allow you to display the modified date, if you want to display it on default theme you’ll need to make some changes in theme files, this mean to do some custom work.
