I have “Flex Block 3” and display the main category name above the featured image.
Can I display the subcategory name?
ex. I have Athletic -> Football and now display “Athletic” but I want to display “Football”.
How can I do this?

So if I understand correctly you want to chose witch category to be display on flex block, if is so, then you need to set a primary category on that post ( if it have two categories, football and athletic -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/primary-category/ ).

The posts are defined with the way that you describe.
The results at the front end is to display the parent category and not the primary category that i have set.

If the problem persist please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict with untested plugins or custom code, please deactivate all non theme/tested plugins, also if you are using child theme, clear all cache and try again.
