for some reason, on single post templates created with the Cloud Library plugin will not contain the Disqus comments section. The comment section reverts back to the WordPress commenting system.
Disqus works as expected on ‘factory-made’ single post templates (the ones that are included originally in the Newspaper theme).

That may happen, we have not made any tests in the matter with that plugin. The new templates are similar to pages, they do not have actual template files such as the default predefined post templates.
They will work with the default WordPress comments, maybe in the future there will be options to select comments source.
ok, thanks. I can live without it, but I’m looking forward to that function.
Any updates on this? DISQUS comments are essential for our site (we have been using it for many years), but so are some of the customizations to the post page only available in the cloud templates.
+1 vote for this welcome addition 🙂 the only thing that prevents me from using this magnificent feature (Cloud Library) is the lack of Disqs integration 🙁
