Hello,
I have discus installed on my site to moderate and allow comments. Disqus syncs comments from its own system to the wordpress database, however, your comment counter on posts isnt showing this.

Hi,
The theme comment counter will work properly only with the default WordPress commenting system.
With disqus, you could try the modifications mentioned in these topics by a user

Maybe there will be an option in the future to select a comment source, can’t say for sure.
