Disqus messing with homepage

Hello everyone,

I just installed DISQUS on my website a long time ago but give up because of a issue that the plugin was causing on it. Today I tried again and everything works fine at POST PAGE but DISQUS is messing with the HOMEPAGE. As you can see on attached images, when It’s active it changes the homepage to something completely different. Any ideas how to fix that?

Wodpress 6.1.1 version
Newspaper 12.1.1

Hello,

The Disqus plugins are not compatible with the last version of wordpress.
Also, we recommend this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/disqus-conditional-load/ -> https://help.disqus.com/en/articles/1717083-how-to-create-an-api-application
Please set the shortname.

I just tried the plugin you mentioned and I’m getting the same issue. Also what do you mean when you say “Please set the shortname”?

I’m Sorry, I believe I’m not following.

What the shortname have to do with the issue that I’m getting from the plugin?
