Div class "woocommerce-info" missing (Urgent please)

Hi, we are in bad time here.
Our theme child have missing Excerpt and Content Restriction Messages (a kind of paywall that links the subscription page) of Woocommerce Memberships plugin.
Yes, i know that this plugin is not officially supported but always worked perfectly up to the updating of the master theme to 8.0.

On my local test i see that if i reset (this operation is dangerous) the child theme the Excerpt and Content Restriction Message are present. So the problem i think are theme options but after 5 hours testing i do not understand the problem. So the only way is reset but i do not want lost menu/widget and other.

This is an example of page that is Restricted:

The Excerpt and Content Restriction Message should look below the photo

On console i see that the class div class “woocommerce-info wc-restricted…” under div class td-post-content is not loaded.

Any ideas to solve?

More details:

– We have “master theme 8.0” and “child theme 7.7c”
– Functions.php is empty
– We use Woocommerce 3.10, WooCommerce Subscriptions, WooCommerce Membership (and here there is no log problem).

Hi,

Maybe you are not configuring the plugin as needed, there could be an overlooked setting or something. Or you need to insert a code or shortcode in the post content. Or maybe you have made some customization to the previous theme, and you need to make them again after updating.
If you tried deactivating the child theme and this fixes the issue, then the child theme could be responsible.
I have inspected the post page, there is restriction excerpt appearing in the post content structure. There seems to be a restriction field in the menu

The plugin settings are perfect and work great.
I do not understand the problem that is solved when i reset the theme Ii try on local).

Now the question is: i have no customization and i use only theme settings.
For your experience what theme setting can hide the restriction message?

How can i try to debug and understand?
I see that in the theme panel there is not the reset setting only for a page (the reset delete all options and content).

After 5 hours i’m again here to try understand.

Hi,

Thew theme does not have a setting that could affect that. It is strange that by resetting the whole theme panel the field is displayed. All the post settings are in the theme panel, but I could not say if one of them could be responsible. Try enabling or disabling them, and see if this has any effect. Or changing the post template.
Maybe it is a caching issue. Try clearing any caching installed, and see if the restriction appears on the post.

Thanks

Are there a solution to reset the theme without delete the content?
I need only reset the theme option.
Thanks.

Hi,

The theme reset will remove all the theme panel settings, and the content of an installed demo. But I don’t know how a theme panel setting could prevent the restriction form appearing on the post page, if you are absolutely sure that the plugin configuration is set according to it’s instructions. And it worked before.
You could revert to the previous theme version, to have a working website with this feature, and make more tests with the new version. Make a fresh install by FTP, install only these required plugins and test. Maybe some other plugin is causing all these problems.

Thanks
