Hi,

I’ve istalled the template, but I’m experiencing some problems:

1. the “infinite scroll” homepage doesn’t look like the demo

2. some code lines appear at the homepage

You can check it out at http://www.jornalglobal.com/?page_id=23

Please send me step-by-step instructions in order to solve these problems.

Thank you,

Rui Silva

Hi,

Please check to see if the visual composer plugin is activated and also if you have prperly instaled it like here:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/update-the-visual-composer-plugin-wpbakery/, the lines of code appear on your front page due to visual composer plugin.

Thanks

Hey Lucian,

I’ve read up on a whole lot of the infinite scroll archives but can’t figure it out.
I have the visual composer activated. I want to have the infinite scroll on only my homepage. Homepage + BG + Latest Articles template is enabled. The other options are as shown here http://screencast.com/t/wHJdcfbi if needed.

Where do I go about activating this?

*Also, once activated, does it track each load as a page view?

Thanks in advance,
Kris

Hi,
You use a template with latest article and that template is with latest posts with pagination.

You need to do that infinite scroll on a block(infinite load are available on blocks in Page builder). Edit you homepage, select as template Homepage - bg - no article list and with page builder you need to create something like this: http://screencast.com/t/itod8bCfVVN
http://screencast.com/t/feqvh8YHBF

Also I see that you don’t have activated the Visual composer on your site. You need to activate it if you want to work the Visual composer(Page builder)

Thanks for the message!

@Marius, thanks for the help. Question, do you know whether it tracks page views on each load?

Hi,
The views from WP update the counter on each page load. The views are stored in a custom field, you can see it if you edit a post: http://screencast.com/t/nR7cIZPy

Hey Marius, I was asking as when you scroll down and it loads new posts on infinite scroll if that will count as a new page view or not.

Hi,

In that case it will not count as a new page view. The view is counted only when you are on a post, and for that post will be +1 count.

Thanks
