Doubt with pagination and canonical rel

Hello team,

I have a small problem with Google indexing, Google it is indexing the home page and all pages of pagination:

https://soyunperro.com <– home
https://soyunperro.com/page/25/
https://soyunperro.com/page/20/
https://soyunperro.com/page/51/
https://soyunperro.com/page/55/
etc…..

In Yoast plugin, I have “noindex” this option, precisely to avoid this problem.

But when I see this /xx pages, I see that <link rel="canonical" href="http://example.com/page/3/" />

Canonical rel go towards the home, instead of pointing towards itself.

Is it possible that there is a problem or incompatibility between Yoast and the theme? Do I need to modify any theme option?

Thanks

Hi,

The Yoast SEO plugin is fully compatible with the theme, and there have been no negative reports in this regard. What Google search displays and indexes can only be affected with the SEO plugin. The theme has no options for this. And after all it is up to Google to decide the results in the end. Maybe these resources may help you

Thanks
