The “Faktasider” dropdown menu on our website http://www.vitamail.no contains so many items that on smaller screen such as laptop screens some of the elements disappear off screen. This is especially a problem with the “Vitaminer” submenu, as it is unscrollable, and thus only two of four elements in the menu are shown.
Is there a simple solution to making the menu more “small screen friendly”? E.g. double or triple column?

Hi,
What you can do is to decrease the sub-menu font size especially the line-height, try this: http://screencast.com/t/yUDOXYYaqB
Thanks!
Thank you, that sorts out our problem for the time being!
An additional question:
On smaller screens (mobile) all the menus are by default open when you click on them, so every sub-item shows on the left hand side.
Is there any way to collapse the main menu items, so that the sub-menus / sub-categories drop down when you click on them? (http://i.imgur.com/7kdpJ1R.jpg)
PS! I don’t mean the menu itself. That works properly, and appears and disappears when clicking the top left icon. I’m referring to the sub-items, to make the menu shorter.
Hi,
Unfortunately we haven’t made any implementation for this, we still have this on our todo list but because we have over 160 feature requests we have to pick very carefully what we implement. If more people request this feature we will do it.
Thank you for your understanding and sorry for the inconvenience!
