we`d like to duplicate our website http://www.cadzand-online.de into a second website built up also with the newspaper theme (naturally bought as a second version ;-). Do you have a proposal to manage this properly? We are using Updraft plus Backup/Restore…

Sorry but we do not have any suggestions to make in this regard as the theme has no settings for moving your WordPress install along with the theme to a different domain. thanks for the information – I have only one remaining question. When I migrate the content to the new wp-installation – do I have first the newspaper theme install before migration or afterwards the migration? Do BuddyBackup or UpdraftPlus also copy/clone/migrate the fully newspaper theme?

It is recommended to first move your WordPress install and then install the theme and import the settings from your current install by using the theme export/import option: https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-export-theme-settings/

We use the DUPLICATOR plugin to do this kind of thing over here.
We had to change name of one of our websites to make it shorter after 10 years, and so were able to clone/move, and as part of the clone image it did the site name changes through the dbase. Pretty amazing, really.
