I’ve had a problem for many months that can’t be solved. I am attaching a video made with “screen capture” to show you the problem/error https://drive.google.com/file/d/19vDBqLTqOkvQSQDWgMeJjK9AYexMuQgY/view?usp=share_link
As you can see in all categories if I use infinity load it always loads the first 10 articles (always the same). The same thing happens if I use next or load more, it always loads the first 10 posts getting stuck (looped) on the first 10 posts. I am therefore forced to use “the numbered pages”. However, numbered pages are a problem because when Google indexes, it creates for example newscinema/page/1, newscinema/page/2, newscinema/page/3, etc.
So I have a lot of pages. I would like to use infinity load or load more but I can’t use it because there is the problem I described. In this way if I used load more or infinity load Goolge would index only one category without dividing it into pages.
Thanks
Hello Alex!
First of all, please make a test and deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache and try again.
Check this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/unique-articles/
And this thread: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/problem-with-duplicate-content/
Thank you!
Hi Bettina,
I followed these steps some time ago but nothing changed. I think there is a mistake in the theme. I deactivated the plugins, cleared the cache, deactivated and reactivated the tagdivcomposer plugin but the situation remained the same: double the first 10 articles.
Edit: Hi Bettina, I solved the problem with your suggestion here https://prnt.sc/H1VxsuMBcZk2
I have increased to 1000 can I also put 2000 or 3000? Doesn’t change anything does it? I’m asking because we as a magazine have over 5,000 articles.
