Duplicated URL with #! parameters

Hi,

I am checking on SEMRush and I am getting signalled duplicated errors like this one:
URL
URL/#!

Why is the theme creating this duplicated URL which are picked up by the tool? How can this be resolved?

Hello!

In those “#”, you need to put a link there(check a text link). If you want, you can delete them from the TagDiv Composer.

Hi Bettina,

could you please clarify ‘we need to put a link there’. These are picked up by the tool (I further check and I can see that they might have a canonical tag which should resolve the duplicate issue, but still we have duplicate tags flagged and not sure why the tool are picking these as separate URLs). Also, can you clarify how we can delete them from TagDiv Composer if we want to?

So, in this case, you need to remove ‘#’ and write your link.
Maybe your situation is similar with this one. Other ‘#’ signs are not from our theme.
