is there an easier way to display the recommended stories and more from author at the same time?

i found the tutorial but its too complex for me, maybe the creators of NewsMag have something more user-friendly?

i was also thinking of doing it differently.

can i display 6 related posts (based on tags) sorted out by latest, and underneath another 6 related posts (also on same tags) but this time sorted out by random? this way new and old content is easily available.

possible?

Hi

You can display related article based by tags, http://screencast.com/t/fv6cGcxS0I3 but the theme doesn’t have an option to filter by latest, or add another section of related articles with another filter on it. To implement that feature requires custom work and for now we can’t provide it as we work hard on the development, updates, fixes and support.

Hi

To display related article and more from author in the same time require code modification and it’s not an easy task, unfortunately that tutorial it’s the most convenient way
