Edit CSS in WordPress editor rather than Newspaper Theme Panel

Hi, I’ve set up a child theme and I’m surprised to find I can’t make amendments in the editor to style.css – I have to enter any amendments in the custom code tab of the Theme Panel.

This is the main reason I set up a child theme. Is there a way I can get Newspaper to work from the child theme style.css?

This is strange, I think the problem may be a setting at my webhost as changes that I’d made in style.css have come through – maybe they’re implementing some sort of cache?

Anyway, looks like the problem is at my end…

Hello donmcleman,

I have tested on my side and everything seems to work as properly, regarding on style.css from child theme using the Editor from WordPress. Please notice that this type of option is controlled only by the WordPress and this is not theme related. Check your WordPress settings, hosting provider in order to achieve best results in this case.
