So you mean the default post template. After the latest theme update it is possible. The child theme has been improved. Copy both the single and loop-single files from the td-composer/legacy/Newspaper folder. Then make a small modification in the single.php file you have copied in the child theme https://prnt.sc/ogo38l It should work fine.

Just please make sure that you have the last version of the theme ( Newspaper v9.7.4 ) and you are using the child theme that comes with this package.

whatever files i copy they are all ignored !

Please make sure that you are using the child from the Newspaper v9.7.4 or last theme package v9.8

If your coding skills are good enough you can edit it. Also I suggest you to first do the modifications on a local host or test server so you can be certain that you do not create issues.

Unfortunately for the moment there are no plans for this because this is a plugin and the child theme is use only for the theme, but I can add it as a suggestion for the coming updates and maybe there will be found a way to do that.
