edit tag showing for all articles when signing in as contributor on mobile theme

Hi, I thought it’s a plugin problem, but apparently, it’s not as I tried it on a new site. Edit tag showing for all articles when signing in as contributor on mobile theme. This should not happen as contributor can only edit post of one’s own, not every article.

Please help me out as I want to build a community site that members can sign in as contributor and post new articles.

Hi,

I believe the contributor can only edit posts before they are published/approved by the admin, while pending review

After being approved and published by the admin, the option to edit disappears, the contributor can only view them

I will add this on our list, the option to edit should not be displayed on the modules for contributors since they cannot edit posts. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Just wonder will this edit-tag-on-all-posts issue be fixed before too long for the mobile theme?
It’s a critical feature for my site to have users being able to join as contributors instead of subscribers. I will need to look for a workaround without this being fixed on mobile. Thanks again!
